Hello there!

I'm a filmmaker from Ridgewood, NJ, with a dream to turn my passion for storytelling into a career. I am strongly influenced by my father, Jeff Muhlstock, a veteran cinematographer and camera operator in the film and television industry. Starting on YouTube as a little kid, I have been creating videos for as long as I can remember. More recently, I have written and directed my own independent film projects, entering the film festival circuit and screening my work internationally.

I attended Ithaca College and graduated with a film degree, and when I was there I spent less time studying for exams and more time on a multitude of student film sets, specifically as a cinematographer. I have DP'd 12 short films, some of them award-winning, and that has resulted in me gaining a lot of experience behind the camera. I also co-founded a production company called Last Minute Films with my collaborators at Ithaca. We are located in both NYC and LA and hope to build the company into a production house.

Post-graduation I began freelancing independently in NYC on scripted television shows in the IATSE 600 ICG Union. I am a loader in the camera department and also work for a company called Monster Remotes where I am hired as a specialized remote head technician.

In my free time, I am currently in the process of developing a television series called The Woods with my writing partner. This has been my passion project for the past few years and I am trying to find the series a home. To learn more about the project, you can visit:  www.thewoodstvshow.com
